Pour-over V60

Preparation steps:

1. Preparation

  • Rinse the filter with hot water to remove the paper taste and warm up the pour-over.

  • Pour the water out of the cup or server.

2. Adding coffee

  • Add 18 g of freshly ground coffee into the pour-over.

  • Make a small indentation in the center.

3. First pour (blooming)

  • Pour in about 40–50 ml of water (2.5–3 times the weight of the coffee).

  • Wait 30–40 seconds — the coffee will “bloom” and start releasing carbon dioxide.

4. Main pour

  • Slowly continue pouring in circular motions up to 150 ml, then to 300 ml (total in 2:30–3:00 min).

  • The water stream should be steady and not touch the filter walls.

5. Finishing

  • Let the water drain completely (about 3:00–3:30 min).

  • Stir the drink in the server — this will balance the flavor.
