ABOUT THE FARM AND COOPERATIVES
Farm Vila Boa is located in the Vertentes region between the Grande and São river basins
Francisco. Monica Borges inherited it from her father in 1988, although the history of the farm
is about a hundred years old. A very young girl decided to leave the profession
psychologist and devote his life to coffee. On the first 7 hectares, Monika and her husband started
grow coffee, which later received the geographical designation Campo das Vertentes.
The name of the farm translates as “pleasant city”, because with its help the owners want to
create a quality community of like-minded people. Currently, the farm with an area of 1200 hectares provides work.
